The pandemic allowed us to reflect and value how important human interaction is, especially with regard to disseminating science. We want to take this opportunity to celebrate the excellent science in KAUST and provide a mechanism for all KAUST academics to showcase their outstanding research in a week-long event through presentations, demonstrations, and discussions. We have purposely chosen the theme Sustainability: Science for the Future to provide a positive outlook on our future, post-pandemic world that resonates across KAUST's focus areas of Energy, Environment, Water, Food & Health, and the Digital domain. We have also sought out leading global experts to join us in exploring new directions and changing imperatives that will invigorate and drive KAUST's research over the coming decade. Please join us for this timely event to experience KAUST's research, network with our faculty and researchers, and discover the amazing activity that is happening here on the shores of the Red Sea. I, for one, am excited to explore with you what the future of science looks like.
