Boon S. Ooi is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at KAUST. His research interest includes high-speed photonics, optical sensors, and optical wireless/fiber communications. He is Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Photonics Technology Letters. He is a Fellow of NAI, OSA, SPIE and IEEE.
