Saleh A. Alshebeili was the Chairman of the Electrical Engineering Department, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 2001 to 2005. He has more than 30 years of teaching and research experience in the area of communications and signal processing. He was a member of the Board of Directors with King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consulting Studies, from 2007 to 2009, a member of the Board of Directors with Prince Sultan Advanced Technologies Research Institute, from 2008 to 2017, where he was the Managing Director from 2008 to 2011, and the Director of the Saudi-Telecom Research Chair from 2008 to 2012. He has been the Director of the Technology Innovation Center, RF and Photonics in e-Society, funded by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), since 2011. He is currently a Professor with the Electrical Engineering Department, King Saud University, and a member of the Spectrum Advisory Group formed by the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission, Saudi Arabia.
